There are two main reasons for using antioxidants in cosmetics: 1. To protect the product formula from oxidation, especially the rancidity of oil compounds from plant sources; 2. To combat free radicals and prevent cell damage caused by oxidative stress, thereby improving skin aging.
Congen pharma uses three main ingredients: Inaif™-Resveratrol, CG Chroman‘6, CG Ergt Ergothioneine, to solve the antioxidant problem from different dimensions and help brands create truly effective products. !

1. Inaif™-Resveratrol | 4 times penetration + counteracting extracellular efflux, antioxidant power doubled
Ingredient introduction:
Resveratrol is a polyphenol substance found in plants such as peanuts, grapes, pineapples, and knotweed. It is a plant defense substance produced when plants encounter adverse conditions such as fungal infection and ultraviolet radiation; As an antioxidant, it can scavenge free radicals, thereby protecting the body from free radical damage.
Advantages:
1) Using Inactiv™ locking technology : 4 times penetration, while inhibiting the P-gp efflux pump, the intracellular retention amount is increased by 4 times.
2) Enhanced efficacy: Melanin inhibition rate increased by 2.76 times (0.01% concentration); the effective concentration of collagen promotion is as low as 0.05μg/ml, and the anti-aging efficiency is doubled.
Solubility: Alcohol-soluble
Applications: Whitening essence, anti-aging creams, etc.

2. CG Chroman‘6 | Low-concentration, fast-acting antioxidant, triple defense
Ingredient introduction:
INCI name: Dimethylmethoxybenzopyranol, is a tocopherol-like compound prepared with bio-antioxidants as inspiration. Its unique chemical structure and properties allow it to resist active substances and enhance the skin's endogenous defense system.
Advantages:
1) Effective at 0.001%, resisting ROS, RNS, and RCS triple active substances.
2) Formula protection expert, effectively delaying oil rancidity, solving problems such as astaxanthin fading and plant oil oxidation (verified by 45℃ accelerated experiment).
Solubility: Fat-soluble
Applications: Essential oils, sunscreens, and easily oxidized active ingredient formulas (such as those containing olive oil and astaxanthin).

3. CG Ergt Ergothioneine | Mitochondrial-level antioxidant, targeted anti-photoaging
Ingredient introduction:
Ergothioneine is a naturally occurring sulfur-containing amino acid, first isolated from ergot in 1909. As a potent antioxidant, it can enter cells, cell nuclei, and mitochondria through the OCTN1 transporter to scavenge free radicals, protect cells from oxidative damage, and accumulate in tissues, with significant anti-aging, anti-photodamage, and whitening effects. It also has high stability and water solubility, and is widely used in high-end skin care products, suitable for all skin types.
Advantages:
1) Dual patents, jointly developed by Tongjun Pharmaceutical and Zhejiang University, using bio-enzyme catalysis: green, high purity, and cost-effective;
2) Directly targets mitochondria, protecting DNA from UV damage.
Solubility: Water-soluble
Applications: Suitable for water, emulsion, cream, essence and other systems, such as: small purple bottle, double-antioxidant essence, etc.
